I have been a forensic polygraph examiner since 1995, and retired Detective Specialist Lieutenant of the Michigan State Police (Polygraph Supervisor/Lab Manager). During my 25 year career with the Michigan State Police, I served 18 plus years as a forensic polygraph examiner. The Michigan State Police (MSP) have been in the business of polygraph testing since 1935 and is the first State Police Agency in the Country to have a polygraph unit. They pride themselves on providing the very best professional service with some of the best highly trained polygraph examiners in the World/Country. As a Detective Specialist Lieutenant with the MSP, I provided forensic polygraph services on specific issue cases; felony investigations for law enforcement agencies, courts and prosecutors throughout Michigan.

While employed with the Department of Michigan State Police, I also served in the ranks of Trooper, Sergeant and Lieutenant (Polygraph Supervisor/Lab Manager). My investigative duties included investigations of all major felony crimes – homicide, sexual assault, robbery, arson, narcotics, domestic violence, and theft. I also taught countless classes to Educational Institutions on Non-Verbal/Linguistics Communications. In addition, I was greatly responsible for training Michigan State Police Staff members (Ranking Officers) interview techniques which would assist them in selecting the best applicants and new Troopers to protect our citizens of Michigan. My experience has allowed me to be an intern supervisor for training new polygraph examiners in the state of Michigan since 1997, and allowed me to sit on the oral boards for The Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs for The Bureau of Commercial Services (Forensic Polygraph Examiners).

Here at Edwards Polygraph & Consulting Services, LLC, the state of art digitally computerized equipment (Lafayette Instrument LX5000) is utilized to assist in determining a subjects truthfulness about a specific issue. I operate under the highest integrity and considered one of the best polygraph examiners/interviewers in the business. I have received several awards for outstanding service to the Michigan State Police on solving numerous major homicides and criminal sexual conduct cases and I am highly respected in the field of polygraph and the legal court systems in the USA. Polygraph exams are conducted in a comfortable and discreet manner at my location (Edwards Polygraph & Consulting Services, LLC) in the Mid-Michigan area, also in other locations if necessary.
